JAMES
BITNER
James has over 20 years of experience in baseball. Starting when he was 3, James was able to excel through little league, high school, and college baseball.
James played 4 years of college baseball at the junior college and Division 2 levels. In 2022 as a senior, James posted a .341 batting average with 53 RBI and 7 HR. James was honored to be 1 of 29 HBCU baseball players to be named to the Black College Nine’s Elite list.
James' speciality is hitting and infielding. In addition to being an NPInstitute Instructor, James coaches for S2 Baseball.
LES
WALROND
Les is a former professional left-handed pitcher from Muskogee, Oklahoma. After graduating from Union High School in Tulsa, Les attended the University of Kansas before starting his professional playing career.
Les played for the Kansas City Royals, Chicago Cubs, and Philadelphia Phillies.
After his last season in 2012, Les became a professional scout for the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Les is currently a pitching coach for NPInstitute, S2 Baseball Coach, Game Day scout and coach, and Team USA scout and coach.
Ryne
Travis
Ryne has over 20 years of baseball experience, playing 5 years at both the junior college and Division 2 levels.
Ryne was a college career .300+ hitter. Along with a lifetime .980 fielding percentage as a catcher.
He also has 3 seasons of experience coaching at the collegiate level as an assistant coach at Olney Central College, and head coach of the collegiate summer team, the Joliet Dirt Bags where he won the 2022 CSBL championship
Hayden
Heinze
Hayden will be offering hitting and outfield lessons.
Hayden has over 20 years of baseball experience from his high school career, including a state championship and all-state honors to 5 seasons of Division 1 baseball.
During Hayden's collegiate career he posted a .300 career batting average and finished first or second on the team in batting average 4 of the 5 seasons he played. Hayden’s junior year saw him in the top 10 in the WAC with a .337 average.
